It all started on 12.10.2019 when I got a message asking me to custom-make two ottoman footstools.
That Saturday afternoon I was lying on the sofa, not feeling very motivated—more like a couch potato🥔, really. I had a few ottomans listed on Etsy, but I wasn’t doing Bobinek seriously at the time. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to keep going or if I could be bothered. I had made some random ottomans for clients before, but nothing consistent—just one-offs(3 blue ottomans).
Then I got this message on Etsy and this is the actual message💌:
"Hi there,
Can you look up a purchase for Kate.
You sold her three of the same item, suitable for sitting. I would like to buy two more from you but using the red legs design (same dimensions as Kates but using the red legs design). You could also make it a little stronger although the ones you made for Kate were strong enough. Just a thought...
