Have you ever wanted to try upholstery and furniture painting? I’m your gal! 🎨✨
Not feeling particularly creative? No worries—I’ll guide you step-by-step in selecting the perfect fabric and matching paint colour. 🧵🎨
I run this workshop on Saturdays from my studio in Dolls Point, at my home upholstery studio, in Sydney, and is perfect for beginners, giving you the knowledge you need to tackle your next home DIY project with confidence. 🏡💪
You’ll also get to know all the essential upholstery tools 🛠️. We’ll start by practicing with a staple gun and other tools before we dive in. The same goes for painting the footstool frame. 🛋️
I absolutely love💕 upholstery, but I know it can feel overwhelming to learn on your own. I’ve been there, and that’s why I created this course—to share the skills and knowledge I’ve gained through my own experience and working with various upholstery businesses. 🙌
I’ll share with you some tricks of the trade and show you where to find all the tools and materials you’ll need. 🔧🛒
How long the workshop takes:
I will take us one Saturday, starting 10am and finishing around 3-4pm.
This workshops is perfect for individuals who are interested in DIY crafts and those who are looking for a creative output or get-together activity with a friend. Also a great gift for birthdays or anniversaries!
Who is the workshop for:
This ottoman workshop is suitable for beginners or people who would like to gain basic knowledge and skill in upholstery and furniture painting.
What you’ll bring home:
At the end of the day, you will bring home a unique piece of furniture you created by hand! A DIY ottoman you made.
Ottoman size are: W 45cm x D 35cm x H 36cm
What you need to bring:
All materials will be provided, best to wear clothes that you wouldn't mind getting paint on, including your shoes. :)

The workshop will take place in Dolls Point at my home upholstery studio.

Rescheduling
You may reschedule your workshop to another available date up to 3 days before your session.
Cancellations
Workshop bookings are non-refundable.
If you cancel within 3 days of the workshop or do not attend on the day (no-show), no refund or reschedule can be offered.
If I need to reschedule
If I’m unwell or something unexpected comes up, I’ll contact you as soon as possible and arrange a new date that suits you — even individually if needed. Your booking will always be honoured.

on practical course and I feel confident taking on a basic project of

upholstery class she has in mind. I highly recommend Jana's class. This
is my 3rd class Benton and although the other two were good, this has
been my favourite.
