Not your basic storage box.
The Kalami Upholstered Storage Box is made to be practical, but the real story is in the detailing.
Handmade from scratch in my Sydney studio, the box is fully upholstered in Holli Zollinger’s Kalami design, printed on thick Cypress Cotton Canvas. Every detail has been considered, from the neatly folded and sewn corners to the topstitching, careful pattern matching and fully finished interior.
Open the lid and the craftsmanship continues inside. The internal lining is finished with individually hand-applied upholstery nails, while a fabric strap holds the lid open neatly and safely. Rather than hiding the construction, the inside is designed to look just as considered as the outside.
A padded upholstered lid adds softness and makes the piece suitable for occasional seating, while the generous internal compartment gives you practical storage for blankets, cushions, toys, shoes or whatever you’d rather not have on display.
This is a storage piece designed to be seen, not tucked away.

Fabric pilling can occasionally occur as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a flaw.
